ZooTV3 traveled to Spain to see one of Europe’s rarest wild cats — the endangered Iberian lynx. During the journey, the team explored the natural habitats where these beautiful and elusive animals still live in the wild. For many years, the species was critically endangered due to habitat loss, declining rabbit populations, and illegal hunting. Thanks to major conservation efforts, including protected breeding programs and habitat restoration, the Iberian lynx population has slowly recovered in recent years. Today, it is considered one of Europe’s greatest wildlife conservation success stories.
